I thought Ard's father would at least comfort his friend by saying that he could trust his son because they've been together for so long, or along the lines of saying Ard wouldn't stop being friends with Ireena for something like that but nothing like that happened lol.

this whole episode was a cringe fest TBH, I mean we knew he'd kill her/vaporize her / annhilate her . but he did it in the most basic heroic way possible , and she happened to be evil for the sake of being evil no interesting dialogue whatsover and the action may get a passing score I guess. Man its falling flat the first few were interesting but now its moving towards the generic route!

Too little too late. She already resented humanity by the time she gained that human form. Plus, anybody who knew the truth would hate her, given that this world seems to be very judgmental about people's true nature. Just like at how Ireena and her dad had to hide their identities.

i feel like that would just breed more resentment. like she was forced into isolation and spent hundreds of years alone just plotting how to take revenge on humanity, then infiltrated human society only to have people suddenly treat her with respect. it would definitely feel disingenuous after everything else. and then on top of that, even if she started to realize that maybe it's not so bad, both confirmation bias and the sunk cost fallacy are a thing. so she'd mentally come up with a reason as to why humans are still bad (friendship=fake + friendship= weakness, humans are friendlier now making them both fake and weak) because otherwise all she did waste 1000 years being bitter and wrong which no one would want to admit to themselves.

I stated this elsewhere, SHE IS NOT HUMAN. Why should she accept and conform to a society of humans and be subjected to a human form just so those selfishly elitist creatures can feel safer and "accept" her as one of their own? What they couldn't accept her power and superiority as a true Dragon because she was therefore a threat, but looking like a human she is acceptable despite still being more powerful than they are and superior (in her mind's eye) ?! Change the world and solve this farce!

well you can't really fault humans for fearing that dragon, I mean a twist of her finger would have killed an adult so yeah. Also when it comes to respect I doubt that she felt equal to humans. In the end she probably wanted to be worshiped but she wasn't so she went mad. Also yeah, the father's silence was a bit off but hey, everybody is like every anime goes along the same path but if something is changed than they are like wow how could this happen ? What I miss personally from this episode is Ard telling the dragon Yo I'm Varvatos, long time no see kind of conversation. Anyhow good episode but could have been way better.

Good clear thinking there. Of course Ard has NO desire to be connected to his past and the fear and loathing it brings with it. He even seemed kind of reluctant or concerned to have to tap into his sealed power because of his fear of being exposed.

That's pretty shallow "human elitist" thinking. She is NOT human. The "Human Form" is not her natural form. She probably has not interest in being "human" for the rest of her near-immortal(?) existence. She hated and resented not being able to be her true self without the world knee-jerk reacting in fear and resolved to eliminate her perceived threat.
Society as others want it to be is the same as a tortured prison for those forced to conform the weak will of others. If the power is there to reform it, why not try?

That animation or Ard using his powers and transforming I to white hair was a good animation and that white hair is cool though

Even Ard who existed during her reputation creating past had no F's to give for her since she clearly cast her own dice and chose the path she walked. Her greater sin was crossing paths with a power one should not cross.

take in her actions along with her reasons and the length of her commitment to her course of action and you get okay it's not complex but it is reasonable and therefore plausible. Not every villain needs to be one readers should empathize with. Heck, we don't even need to sympathize with a villain to accept his reason for being.

this whole episode they botched to oblivion, i'd check out the chapters if i were you. the fight was astronomically better, and felt more meaningful, and even then dragon lady barely survived and tp'd away to safety

I agree..like I was getting sleepy watching them fight..it's kinda like Demon Lord of High School (aka The Demon Lord of Flex) has a cooler personality whereas the MC here is kinda Flexy also but lame..they made his character too soft and too much of a gentleman proportion..in all honesty..I'm kinda losing hope in these 1 guy 2 girls theme anime..it's so generic..

ITS SUPER GENERIC YES, but at this point its about how one punch man OP can the MC be and how much more flashy the attacks can be compared to other generic anime/manga of the same types.

even the Misfit of Demon High had a super cringe ending..I stopped watching Shikkakumon no Saikyou Kenja midway coz I get the feeling of too OP and Cringe..and there's more..Sekai Saikou no Ansatsusha, Isekai Kizoku ni Tensei suru..Isekai Cheat Magician..Kenja no Mago..Arifureta..and many many more..these are just some of the most waste of time,OP MC and first few episode piques your interest but later you would feel and know that they have no uniqueness or the story wasn't detailed enough/ they didn't put enough effort to make it interesting..I know what I'm talking about cause I've already watched hundreds of animes..from slice of life to fantasy to romance and so forth and so on..

Why would a father who is overshadowed y his son's unbelievable power and growth feel he knows what's going through his genius son's unknowable mind? Sure he can be confident he'll achieve the goal he set out to accomplish, but will he accept an evil god's brood and the potential evil emergence? After all his upbringing has taught him against those evil gods?
